Our Story
MatForged was built from a lifetime connected to wrestling — as an athlete, coach, police officer, and wrestling father.
Wrestling has shaped every chapter of life through discipline, pressure, resilience, accountability, and perseverance.
From competing in New Jersey and wrestling in junior college, to years spent coaching and mentoring around the sport, to serving in law enforcement and retiring as a lieutenant before continuing police work in Delaware today — the lessons learned through wrestling carried into every phase of life.
At the same time, creativity and graphic design were always part of the journey as well. What started years ago as a passion for art eventually came full circle through MatForged.
Today, watching a new generation begin their own wrestling journey has created an even deeper appreciation for the culture and support system behind the sport — the parents, coaches, teammates, siblings, early mornings, long drives, packed gyms, sacrifice, and commitment that make wrestling what it is.
MatForged represents more than apparel.
