The Southern Delaware Wrestling series is rooted in the grit and pride of Sussex County and the lower half of the state — places like Lewes, Rehoboth Beach, Cape Henlopen, Milford, Seaford, Laurel, Georgetown, Millsboro, Delmar, and Ocean View. This region produces wrestlers shaped by farm-town work ethic, coastal toughness, long tournament weekends, and year-round commitment to the sport. From beach towns to farming communities, Southern Delaware wrestling carries a reputation for resilience, humility, and relentless effort. Whether it’s training in small-town wrestling rooms, grinding through weekend tournaments, or representing lower Delaware with pride, this collection captures the identity of athletes who compete with toughness far bigger than the state they come from. From the Farms to the Beaches, Grit Lives Here represents the mentality of wrestlers forged by hard work, grit, and Delaware pride.
